Meštri o' baluna.
Čejad s otoka.
A club that lives with its community, its island, its people — and all the severed ferry lines that bind them.
A club open to all
- Fair play towards the sport and opponents
- Mutual respect and team spirit
- Openness and responsible management
- Active community participation
- Long-term thinking and continuity
Football club Hajduk 1932 Vela Luka is a stable and recognisable sporting collective that, in the long run, aims to become the driver of complete football development for young people on the island of Korčula. At its Močni Laz, the Vela Luka Hajduk brings together young footballers, athletes and recreational players, and begins a new stage of development in its long history.
The club grows as an open system in which all Lučani take part and contribute — from players, fans, parents, rojaci and neputi to entrepreneurs and town councillors. In honour of the Hajduk name, this club is not and never will be run by private interests of individuals, companies or political parties.
Močni Laz
a watered plot of land bounded by dry-stone walls, under olives or vines.
The Vela Luka Hajduk is and always will be the guardian and symbol of sporting spirit, tenacity, defiance and togetherness of the Croatian people on Korčula. Guided by a shared desire for progress and, above all, for preserving the local community and culture, the people of Vela Luka build the club together — one they will proudly pass on to the generations that follow.
Board
At the helm of NK Hajduk 1932 Vela Luka is Sanja Oreb, the first female president in the long history of our club. Her re-election and leadership of the club represent a combination of top-notch professional management and deep commitment to the development of local sports.
Sanja Oreb is a long-time manager and regional leader of the renowned retail chain Konzum plus d.o.o. In this position, she successfully manages and coordinates the work of all retail facilities in the strategically important area of the island of Korčula and the Pelješac peninsula. Her many years of experience in corporate management, crisis management, and organization of large teams Sanja applies daily in the club's operational work.
A fan of all kinds of sports with idea that upbringing and belonging to a sports collective is the most ideal way for young people to grow up.
In his remaining free time, he is the holder of a Law Office in Vela Luka, Vice-President of the Dubrovačko-Neretvanska County Football Association and President of the Association of Sports Associations in Vela Luka.
Member of a travel agency team.
He believes that the best way to help the community is to get involved in the work of sports and cultural associations with an emphasis on working with young people.
In this way, in addition to more active growing up, children and young people socialize much better.
He played 379 matches for the parent club, and in the period from 1994 to 1996 he competed for HNK Šibenik in the 1st Croatian football league. He returns to NK Hajduk 1932 where he also ends his football career.
A football enthusiast and a fan of our club, after being a secretary and coach in the club, he now holds the position on field maintenance.
Močni Laz
A detailed study has shown that we do not need to demolish the existing stadium in order to build a new one.
The new board therefore sets renovating what exists and building new infrastructure as its main direction of development.
Development goal
For Vela Luka to gain the island's first modern sports and recreation centre — open all 12 months of the year — one that will above all enable the growth of NK Hajduk 1932, and ultimately put Vela Luka on the map as a desirable destination for sports tourism.
Comparative advantages
The immediate proximity of the island's main ferry port and road, all utility connections, a sports hall, as well as 3 outdoor pitches, 3 bocce courts and room to expand facilities and parking — advantages available nowhere else on Korčula.

Clear goals that guide the club — from the youngest age groups to the senior team.
Football school
Develop young footballers through structured, high-quality work in the Football School.
Infrastructure
Gradually improve the sporting infrastructure and conditions for training and competition.
Organisation
Strengthen the club's organisational stability through transparent and responsible management.
Community
Encourage the involvement of parents, volunteers and partners in the club's work.
Senior team
Build a senior team that relies on its own home-grown players.
Children the foundation, seniors the goal
Work with children and young people is the foundation of the whole system. The senior team builds on that process as the final stage of a player's development — ensuring the club's continuity and stability.
Football school
The school programme brings together children of different ages — from the youngest beginners to older categories preparing for senior football. The work is organised by age group, with clearly set goals and a licensed coaching staff.
The Football School develops far more than technical and tactical ability. Equal emphasis is placed on building character — team spirit, responsibility, work habits and sporting conduct, on and off the pitch.
A child's development always comes before results.
The aim is to give every child from Vela Luka and the surrounding area the chance to play football in an environment that fosters healthy development and a sense of belonging.
